A residence rich with history
Originally a famous local residence named ‘Rose of Pai,’ built in the classic Shan or ‘Tai Yai’
architecture style, the extensively refurbished mansion is now a 14 room boutique hotel
seamlessly blending old world charm with contemporary holiday living.
Overlooking the romantic Pai River and only a stone’s throw from the lively pedestrian ‘shopping street’,
step through our gates and be immersed in the ambience of yesteryear while enjoying our high-end hotel’s
modern conveniences and facilities.
Framed by traditionally constructed high ceilings and columns, the residence features the original mansion’s frame, flooring and teakwood walls.
Every space has been thoughtfully curated, many with décor and furnishings made exclusively by local artisans for Hotel des Artists Rose of Pai.
All guestrooms have individual ensuites fitted with porcelain washbasins and illuminated by lamps describing the rich history of Pai. The cushions adorning each room’s beds and lounges are stitched from locally woven fabrics and embroidered in the traditional Northern Thai style.
The keychains for each guestroom have been created from authentic Hill Tribe accessories.
